Book & School Supply Drive

Dear Horizons Parents, Families, and Staff,

My name is Chloe Wozniak.  I go to Horizons K-8 school and am currently in Lynn´s 5th grade class.  This year the ⅚ classes are doing a four week project called Learning Without Walls (LWW).  Learning Without Walls is a self directed learning project.  For my project I decided to help others and include my love of books.  I wanted to have a book and school supply drive at my school.  So I looked at many organizations and decided to donate to I Have a Dream Foundation.  I thought this organization is very inspirational and I liked how they were willing to take any donations.

The  book and school supply drive is being held May 1st- May 12th  (the first two weeks of May).  All donations will be brought to school and put in the boxes that say ¨Book and School Supply Drive¨ and will also say facts about I Have a Dream Foundation and my Learning Without Walls project.  These boxes will be put in front entrance (front foyer).  Lightly use preschool- high school aged books, brand-new school supplies, and any working computers or I-pads will be very well appreciated.
