BVSD Annual Data Update

Below is a copy of a BVSD announcement that you should have received from BVSD.  If your household is considered the secondary household, then you will not receive this.  If yours is the secondary household and have information to change or update, please let me know. 

This Annual Data Update is necessary so that we have recent, accurate information for every household.  If you need help or have questions, please contact me.

To BVSD Parents and Guardians in Primary Households:

Before the current school year ends in May, please take a moment to log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal to complete your Annual Data Update (ADU) for next year. The online ADU allows you to review the data we currently have for your child and household, update your emergency contacts, and request other changes if needed. This process also allows you to electronically complete and submit the Parent/Student Sign-Off Sheet from the Student Rights and Responsibilities Guide.  Your child’s school may have other site-specific forms that you will be asked to complete later.

Note that the Annual Data Update system is only accessible to parents in a student’s primary household. If your child has a secondary household, please update the information for that additional household as well while you are completing the Annual Data Update for your student(s).

If you have already set up your Parent Portal in Infinite Campus, you can go complete your family’s Annual Data Update in the system now:

  1. Log into your Infinite Campus Portal with the account you previously created.
  2. Select the link on the left-hand column titled “Annual Data Update (ADU).”

  3. A new window will open and you will be directed through the process. Some requested changes to information may require documentation. Please refer to the help boxes as you proceed. Make sure to complete all fields marked with a red asterisk (i.e. required information).

If you have NOT yet set up your Parent Portal in Infinite Campus, you should have received an email recently with a Campus Portal Activation Key and instructions. The subject line of the email would have been “Message from BVSD – your access to Infinite Campus Parent Portal” and the sender email address was ic.messenger@bvsd.org. Please refer to that email to set up your Parent Portal, then return to these directions on how to complete your family’s Annual Data Update.

If you do not have a portal yet and you did not receive the email with activation key, please contact your child’s school for assistance.

Note that the Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL) application will be available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal in August. Watch for more information about that this summer.
