7th Grade Students respond to Hurricane Harvey

We love it when students are self-directed and community contributors! After hearing about the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, a group of seventh graders brainstormed a response, found a faculty sponsor (Teran), advertised, fundraised, and organized a bake sale! The group has raised about $500, and still has a donation container in the front office if you’d like to contribute. This is what it means to be a Horizons student – taking action, communicating and practicing compassion.
