Here are three documents which are available for review for fall 2019 consideration by the Horizons Council. We are seeking community input via this Google form and responses will be made available to Council members.
Proposed Redlines of Horizons K-8th Board of Directors Bylaws
Redline #1 This document reflects the recommendations of the Horizons Board of Directors based on guidance from the Bylaws Subcommittee and Council, as approved by the Board of Directors on April 22, 2019. This document also merges the governance language from the Articles of Incorporation into the bylaws, as requested by Council. The board has not yet reviewed nor approved the text of this document. This document is NOT finalized until approved by Concordance by both the Board of Directors and a quorum of at least 20 Council Members.
Proposed Redline #2
This is a version of the bylaws with all redlining in #1 accepted, as well as additional proposed changes as recommended by our lawyer, a number reflecting legal concerns and others reflecting issues of clarity, elimination of redundancy, etc. This document would need to be approved by Concordance by both the Board of Directors as well as a quorum of at least 20 Council Members.
Revised Articles of Incorporation
A version of our non-profit Articles of Incorporation, as requested by Council on April 18th, 2019. This document is NOT finalized until approved by Concordance by a quorum of at least 20 Council Members.
