Supporting Horizons K-8 can truly be a fun and rewarding endeavor.  We strive to provide parents with thoughtful ways to engage with our community that greatly impact the overall success of our school programs.  Whether you choose to be board member, a liaison, to participate in Council, run a Community Group activity or clean your child’s classroom, support during the school day, there are a myriad of ways to be involved that fit for every lifestyle and interest.

Horizons K-8 simply would not be the school or community that it is today without a commitment from every parent in our community.  Our status as a charter school, with all its benefits, does require that we ask a great deal from our parent community in order for the school to run smoothly on a day to day basis. Consistent and committed parent involvement has become over the years, a welcomed expectation to what it means to be a part of the Horizons K-8 Community.
